    Hiya John B. What kind of flash are you using? I have a YN560 which, although fully manual, is my favorite. Like you, I was experimenting with it on one side to take this picture...
    PS - in your picture, I really like how, when you click on it to see the larger version, you can clearly see the "orange peel" effect reflected from the white surface, and I also love your use of blue, a complementary color to orange, to accentuate the "orangeness" of the orange. George (yorkshireman) did something similar on the very first image he posted where the cut orange was presented on a ground of intense green. Nice shot, John B.
