I cannot believe you posted this, Kiasmum. I distinctly remember seeing this movie at the Paramount Theater in Fremont, Ohio, ft age six. I am sure it was a major influence on my life in shaping my views to subsequently become a Republican, who, at age 15, was the Chairman of the Young Republicans in Fremont, Ohio, and who actually wrote the constitution and bylaws for that group; and, I might add, someone who supported the election campaign of Barry Goldwater, a true Libertarian, I must say. I think it was also about that time that I came to love the taste of bacon.

They say that early childhood experiences affect one for life. And yet I have managed to turn a quite new page; proving, methinks, that you cannot always believe what they say, but more importantly, that your past doesn't entirely determine your future.

Back then, I thought those were the good times. Back then, I thought I was on to something, and I thought that what I was on to would pan out.

But what I didn't know about then, what I was doing a little of but really didn't understand the way I do now, was photography.

And now I know; that makes all the difference ...

But luckily, I have some time left to explore it further, and the very best forum and friends to do it with.
