... and NO its not another flower thread, the theme "Hidden Beauty in Nature" refers to those things you might not take a second look at as you look around but yet in themselves can be so photogenic and artisitic. Sometimes a single blade of grass in the right setting can be as awesome as a bunch of red roses. A dead flower head can have it's own attraction and the next time you see a small insignificant flower, get out ther macro and you might find a whole new world of beauty.
This doesn't just have to be about flora, fauna has its own beauty which sometimes gets overlooked, a cast off antler, a solitary paw print - use your imagination and open your eyes.
This isn't a challenge just a way to get us looking at nature a little different.
2 images per post please.
This theme will run for 2 weeks.

Amongst all the other dried grasses and such you wouldn't have given this dried flower head a second look, however take it in isolation and with a shallow depth of field it takes on a beauty all of it's own.
.... and here some hidden nature being revealed with a backlit fern showing us the spores under the leaf, something we would normally only see by turning the leaf over.
