Default Where's the crock of gold?

Rain and thunder in the evening when I noticed the sky looked yellow through the rain.
Thought I would risk getting wet when I saw this that had been screened by the tree outside my window.

Ventured forth further outside to find the garden in shadow but a patch of light on Ely Cathedral through the rain

A quick dash round to the farm at the back of my garden

The light changing by the minute as the storm clouds were coming over. Fortunately all dried off without damage!

I really like the composition on #2 where the rainbow falls into the garden through the opening between the trees. Great shot!

Nikon D5100 with lots of buttons and things, and a neck strap so I don't drop it, but I could still fall over and drop it in the mud.

I agree with Tim, Fangman, that #2 is the best shot, although I do like the color of the sky in #1. It's somewhat ominous-looking.

Ooh, I do like that word... 'ominous.' I need to find other places to use it as well.

Okay to post your photos in my threads
Okay to whine about what I should have done to get a better photo.

Love #2. I could see that on my wall.
