Interesting how you were able to get so much detail in the image while capturing the star trails. Nicely photographed.

So this actually was done at night.
This really is exceptional. Okay, ummm how long is 481,000 seconds? And how did your battery hold up to this???

Thanks for mentioning this. Were 481 s, eight minutes. 481.000 sec is like FxIF, the program I use to display exif data, writes it. I did not realize that English use comma for the thousands while in Spanish the comma is used for decimals.
I calculate the exposure for night photography to ambient light, in this case in light of the moon. The setup camera is to process and eliminate the noise produce for long exposure. This means that procesing time is the same as the time of exposing, so battery consumption is dramatic. It usually takes three batteries with me when I do night photography.
This picture was taken in Daylight.

Interesting, thank you so much! I had wondered about the battery consumption.

Beautiful photo! Nice & sharp! I even like the contrasty shadow angles created by the moonlight. Really well done!

Hi miggrado! You have done nice work! Your technique of capturing this type of photo was really mind blowing. I also want to learn this type of dark photography as I'm beginner in this field. Good job!
