Mountain Vacation
This is a discussion on Mountain Vacation within the Photojournalism & Travel Photography forums, part of the PHOTO GALLERIES category; Patti and I vacationed in beautiful Alberta this past summer. What a blast. So many photos to take so little time.
#1 This is Bow ...
Stunning scenery - thanks for sharing
1 and 2 for me with a slight crop on the bottom of 1 to get rid of that tiny little branch sticking up. I like in #2 how it looks like that melting glacier is creating that waterfall. 5 is nice too but I have thing with branches and stuff in the foreground of big vistas.
Nice set!!!

Thanks guys. We were there in August, and every glacier had a water fall somewhere. Most we could see. It took a long time to get from point A to point B because I was always stopping to take photos. After a week, came home with over 2000.

Beautiful shots. I've always wanted to go to Alberta these shots just make me want to go even more!
Those are definitely WOW shots. Makes me want to be there.
Great images! really like the reflections! Certainly a place I want to visit
Such beautiful scenery. I think 1 is definitely my favorite, with a slight crop at the bottom to get rid of the top of that tree. Stunning views though! I would probably never leave if I went there...
Beleave me...one week was not enough time to take it all in. One thing I will say, everything made you feel very small. I caught myself a few times just standing there in ah.

Ditto.
Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words "I have a cunning plan" marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
