    Panasonic has unveiled what it is calling the Worlds First Full-time Live View Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera - the Lumix DMC-G1.     Panasonic unveiled the camera on Friday in Tokyo and will show it at next week's Photokina show in Germany. It will be available in Japan, Europe and North America in October and will cost around 80,000 (US$747), €800 (US$1,120) and US$800 respectively.

    It is an interesting idea but they need to sell it more cheaply. At @ 630 it is more expensive than a whole raft of dSLRs from the major manufacturers.
