Adobe has purchased the Pixmantec Rawshooter technology. Adobe is going to use the technology in their new product, 'Lightroom'. The beta version of Lightbox for the Mac has already released. I'm on a waiting list for the Windows version beta launch.

So to sum it up...Pixmantec has discontinued the Rawshooter Premium The free, Rawshooter Essentials will continue to be distributed until the release of Lightroom. Hopefully, Adobe does Pixmantec justice. Rawshooter Premium is a wonderful, and very fast, RAW conversion software. Hope Adobe doesn't ruin it!
