    hey, i'm trying to take photographs of bubbles wraped around a straw from a carbinated drink cause it looks like it would make a cool photo, but my camera isn't focusing on anything. so i was wondering if i could get some tips or more info that would be great.

    what type of lens are you using ?
    How far away are you from the subject ?
    NIkon D300 + MB-D10
    Sigma 70-200mm 2.8
    Sigma 17-35mm 2.8
    Tamron 90mm 2.8
    3 x EN-EL3 Battery
    SB-800

    i'm using just the standard lens that came with my camera its a 18-55mm i beleive and i'm zoomed in pretty close.
    nikon D40 AF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6GII ED lens

    PHOTO EDITING OK
    Use manual focus and focus as close as the lens will focus. Then position the camera so the subject is in focus.
