    I am interested in learning more about HDR. From what I know now its the morphing of the same shot taken with two different exposures. Right?

    If thats the case I would love to hear what software people are using. If its mac compatable.

    The other thing I would like to see is the 3 photos. Two shots with different exposures and the comp.


    If anyone has time for this THANKS.

    HDR involves taking several shots normally 5 - 12 of the same scene at different shutter speeds at set stop intervals to ultimately achieve a higher dynamic range. I've used two stand alone programs Photomatix and FDR Tools. I'm not sure if they have versions for the Mac however.

    Here are three shots, (this was my first attempt at HDR mind you lol so the exposures weren't exactly accurate) that you can mess around with to try and get a feel for how it's done, not sure if you want to use photomatix or if you'll just use the HDR feature in Photoshop CS2, but feel free to mess around with them and see what you come up with:
