    CONGRATS Melissa!!!!

This isn't something you would find on a Hallmark greeting card, but I think the phrase is fitting in this case. Lightening struck the local church last night, just down the road from our home. Seems a shame for such an old church. We've had alot of rain lately, the sky was cloudy, and overcast, then decided to open up with another downpour right after I got in the truck. Strange how one area can have so much, when others need it worse than we do.

True your phrase is... Seeing the orignal work on this thread and the old style in another thread, i'm thinking that i like your old style so much that it might even beat the original, imo... great work Geri!

Thank you so much, Melissa! I really appreciate that! I love the old style edit also, it has always been one of my faves, along with the b/w, and sepia toned as well. I really think it works with this type of an image even more.

Geri - such a shame about the church, but its always a positive when no one is hurt.

I love your use of texture in the last one, and the caption is perfect.

Thank you, Marie! Yes, it is a shame about the little church, it was a very historic building for our little town. They said if the four walls are sturdy enough, they are going to try to rebuild.

Really nice work from everyone. I hope you enjoyed the challenge!

This one's closed - new one just went up.
