Terry, the light through the clouds is just beautiful.![]()
I know we're all sick of seeing snow, but this spring has been so cold it's a great time to go to the beach to see the ice. I love these little slabs that seem to defy gravity. The background peak is part of a ridge of ice on the edge of the water.
The rock on the left looks like it's splashing in water but its actually ice that's formed when water rises up from under the ice surface.

Yesterday is history; tomorrow is a mystery; today is a gift...that's why it's called the present..[/b][/i]
Unfortunately not. I didn't dare change lenses in the wind that was blowing and I only had the kit lens on. Normally I'd run back to the car but it was about 20 minutes away and it would have been dark by the time I returned. I was thinking of going back tonight to see if they're still there. There were a few of them.
And yeah, I thought they were pretty cool too! I've never seen them before and it took me a bit to figure out how it formed that way.![]()

Once again, well done to all that participated. If you didn't already know, I hope you gained an appreciation for that special time around sunrise and sunset.
