What a neat looking place, Dave!

    Thanks, Charles and Dane.

No HDR. No special lighting ... except that
most of the south wall was missing, so the external and interior light were somewhat balanced.

And here it is from the outside ... long, deep afternoon shadows and golden light.

Arla, you little devil you. That was a trick question.

Went out with my son. (Mom's in the US so no Mother's Day) We went over to the park and I was wondering what kind of photos I could take for this challenge. It was early afternoon so the sun was pretty intense; though Switzerland is pretty far north so its not as intense as you might guess. (About the same latitude as Seattle.)

I was sitting watching my son play with the other children. This woman was doing the same, watching her children play. I liked the harsh sun on her face and the deep shadows. I was using the big telephoto (with no VR) so getting a critical focus was a bit difficult.

    Very nice composition, Charles.

Geez! I just have too much on my plate today, to be playing on PF ... but here I am again!

Cloud shadows help to emphasize the rocky features of "my" Exchequer.

The sun was in and out of the clouds this afternoon when I was outside playing with my son. Made for some really cool lighting
