What printer? A4 or A3.

Im after a new printer and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or thoughts?

Will I get a better quality print from a good A3 printer than a good A4 printer?
I don't really have the need for A3 printing but if i'll get better quality photos from it then i'll go with that.

Before someone tells me this is an old post... yes I know just thought I would reply anyway for other people seeking similar advice.


Printer suggestions are canon and epson.

Canon = Excellent quality prints, reasonable ink prices and a printer that will last and last due to the easy replaceable printheads **on selected models**
Epson = Good quality prints but not as reliable as the canons. but epson do have cheap refillable cartridges

And to answer the quality question in theory an A3 printer should print the same quality from its smallest size to the largest as with an a4 printer. The only difference is the A3 printers take up a lot more room on a desk than an A4 printer.,

A3 printer is the best choice as it gives you more printing combination such as A4, A+, A3+, 10×15, banners and more, which you can hardly find through the standard printers.Printing a photo or document at the size of A4 or 10×15 is common. Using A3 is more unique whereby the words are clearer, visible and clean. Printing at the size of A3 will provide you bigger and comfortable outcome of your documents and pictures as well.It provides you the facility to print out the documents in many different preferable sizes other than A3.

As far as the combination and the contrast is concerned then A3 is better because practically it proves better.Other wise if you use to get the better combination by using A4 then there is not more difference between this.

A3 printer is a really a brilliant choice as your photo printer as my opinion. Because, It is provide a very nice quality photo printing than other photo printer. It has provide a high resolution and large size photo printing that's also a one big benefit of A3 photo printer.
