    Interesting composition Bynx.

Have you used Photoshop or a different software for this?

If you habe used Photoshop, what is the best wayto isolate the diecast model from its background?

Yes I used Photoshop. With the background as the base layer, quickly cut out the car from its photo and place as layer on top of the base. Then using eraser just erase everything except the car and shadow. Size the layer to fit, flatten the image and thats that.

Sounds easy ... while I have a cc licence, I never feel really at ease with PS

Well you wont get any more at ease with PS if you never use it. Just do one thing at a time. And only learn what you need to. There are enough step-by-step videos on Youtube to get you well on your way.

Well, there is a difference between not feeling at ease and not using it ...

What I wanted to say is that for me a number of actions that are possible in PS require an action which I would expect to be done differently, based on user interfaces that I am used from other applications.

Obviously that is just me, as there are number of Photoshop wizards ...

Thanks for the recommendation about training videos.

ebay William. They average out to about $125 each. I have over 120 of them. Some running up to $400 like my Overland Stagecoach and Chuck Wagon.

This really has a sort of retro Route 66 feel! Great job!
