My daughter

Today is my second day using an SLR camera. Prior to this, I have little photographing experience, and defiantly no "professional" experience.. My husband is a professional photographer and gave me an old camera to use (Canon 20D with a 50mm 1.8). I took these pictures of my daughter this afternoon and processed them with a cheap software on my computer. I would love some feedback!!

Nice pictures.
The second photo seems overexposed or you adjusted too much the contrast.
Maybe it is also the dynamic range of the sensor.

I really like the pictures, but the vignetting is distracting. I like the 1st photo the best- the lighting was the most accurate. I do feel the rest are a bit overexposed, with a good "editing" program you could clean those up. Keep up the good work. I like the posing and colors!

I like 1st one and contrast was perfect in that photo but reaming photos have some contrast problems. Keep it up..

The images of your daughter are very nice and lovely. The first image is my favorite than others. It can be much better if, you give a natural look in this.

You have an eye for it, the comments about sharpness and contrast etc. ignore as I am sure it's down to the naff softwear you put the files through... get hubby to teach you the basics of photoshop, keep at it
