I was unsure of exactly how to edit this one. I didn't have to do much EDITING but the processing I wanted something just not sure what. The muted tones is was what I settled on, but if anyone else can think of a better way to present it, feel free to share. How is the pose and everything? I think the hand blur is acceptable because it's motion, would you agree? BTW I realize there is some kind of lines going across her, you can see it toward the bottom of her face and I'm not sure what it is, but it doesn't bother me nor them so we're ignoring it. Her hand in her pocket too, it was like 5 dgrees on the beach that day so I'm bypassing this as a problem too.

    Thanks for looking everyone

    NBL,
I like the way this is composed. They are both looking into the lens.
Also her hand in her pocket is perfect for that side of the frame and works just fine. The focus is drawn to their faces and them holding hands.
As far as the scratch or line, I actually see a total of four lines across her.
Do you own a cat? Might be cat hair???
Do they only show up in this photo?

Well that's good. As long as it's the only one.
I see you used 1/15 shutter. Maybe a few flying bugs made it into your shot?
    Nice shot just the same.

Oh wow you know actually, it was. I can't remember any snow while we were at the beach but earlier that day at home I had to shake my head at the thought of beach pictures during a snowfall! It started dropping like an hour before we left.. So that could very well be it.

    Heather,

This works very well. Excellent informal couple portrait. And your post processing is very appropriate.

I'm sure your couple will find a permanent home for this picture.

    Congrats.
