I live on the west coast of British Columbia and one of my favorite subjects is the local surfing population.

This was just a snap of a guy heading away from the surf back to reality... I like how he's hanging his head - almost reluctantly leaving the break behind. I welcome your comments!

not bad, love the concept

I like the concept, too. A couple of things that might have helped:

1) Get a higher camera angle if you can to get rid of the telephone lines, which are very distracting.

2) Get your subject out of the center. Over to the right would have given him space to walk into. Dead center placement of a subject like this isn't as dynamic as an off-center placement.

Looks like you had a fun day! And the fact that the picture seems to tell a story is great!
