Interesting picture.. however I think the title of this post may be offensive to some people whether intended or not so I'd be a little more careful with future posts.

Yeah, that is a strange picture, which makes it interesting.

About the title: depends on whether or not the OP is Indian or is close with his Indian friends... but it still could be construed as offensive no matter what the circumstances are.

    Anyway, nice photo.

I have looked at this image more than once and I really, really like the image. I like the beautiful soft but clear colors in the piece as well as the interaction between the two interesting subjects. The position of the shoes is the only thing I found "strange" in an interesting way. I wonder why the subjects have their shoes off?

    Thought provoking piece, nicely done.

Neat shot. I don't see anything wrong with the title. If someone's offended, they need to grow some thick skin. It's just a matter of cultural differences. Nothing wrong with pointing out something is strange to someone because it's not of a tradition they're used to.

In religious places Indians walking without shoes, it's strong tradition. Tourist have to take off their shoes too.
    Thank you!

Interesting. Thank you for the explanation. One of the aspects of this forum is how we learn so much from each other; photography, as well as customs of cultures from around the world.
