    PHOTO EDITING NOT OK
I bought my Rebel back in the fall but just became brave enough to venture into "full manual" mode near the end of January. Wanted to show off a few of my favorite pics of my son... I've got a ton to learn, so any constructive criticism would be helpful and appreciated!

Each of the shots are beautiful and have such a great little personality to them! Perfect focus, and great lighting!

And, oh! the eyes! WOW! beautiful!

Thanks Jen I say a lot to learn because I feel like I get maybe one or two GOOD shots out of every 100. That feels more like luck then skill to me Like, I'll get good lighting, but the focus will be crap. Or my focus will be good but composition suffers, kwim?

Whoops! Sorry about that! Let me go edit again. duuuuuuuuuuuh. Moved the last 3 down here:

... And this is the look he gives me when he's had enough of me chasing him around with the camera

The faces in the last few are too funny! Really great collection!

I get what you mean. The same thing happens to me - that's why we shoot digital right?

PS: Just a reminder that the forum rules are 5 photos to each reply. They can all be in this thread but just 5 to a post. Thx!

    kquinn,

The more you understand all the main aspects and camera settings, and master them, that ratio will increase.

Nice photos, I like the expressions you have caught.
