wow, I would say you deffinately got what you were looking for the second time. How long of an exposure did you have to use to get that level of clarity?

I think most of us who have attempted a moon shot, overexposed it the first time. You'd think that because it's dark you need a longer exposure. That's a huge difference between your first and second shots. Strange how it got turned upside down. You're not in Australia, are you?![]()
No Im in New Hampshire, I was horrified when I seen the first pic, didn't look like that in the viewfinder!
most attempts I have made at getting the moon come out like your first one.. I guess maybe I need to try again. LOL.
