    Wow! that's amazing and fantastic shots. The scene with light of sun is very nice. Love the 1# shot much.

    That's the moon in #1... if it were the sun you wouldn't see the stars in the background.

    I can see the Pleiades very distinctly in #3. It was shot facing to the eastern horizon and probably around 8pm local time. The bright "star" in the center is the planet Jupiter. Taurus the bull is below the Pleiades. Aries is left of Jupiter. The head of Cetus is below Jupiter (and his body is to the right).

    I wasn't able to make out the constellations in #2 or #1 (I'd have to stare at them a lot longer... but it was easy to do in #3 because both the Pleiades and Jupiter made it extremely easy to get a good reference on the sky.)

    I'd love to see the exposure info on these. They're great sky shots... long enough to get a good image of the stars and yet no so long as to create star trails.
