    Those who are on POTN have seen these but anyway.. I was off this board for over a year, sort of forgot and just found it by accident so maybe I'm back.. will have to get back to the image games thread some day.

    July 10th lightning storm after watching dirt track races, couldn't pass up a chance to play with my new 24-70 F2.8 lens. Worked from F16 down to F5.6 and from 13 second exposures to 30 second in the final ones.

    Whooo! Those are good! I've been looking for spot where I could such an expansive view like that to shoot lightning. There isn't much choice of lookouts around my home.

    The view and open aspect really makes these into great lightning shots

    I'm hoping to use that spot for the August Perseids meteor shower, though it'll be a full moon so I might need to find a spot I can face the other direction
