    I was all set up, but the weather didn't cooperate (total cloud cover & snow)

    Bogen Manfrotto Tripod, Manfrotto Monopod, & Ballheads
    All stuffed into two Pelican waterproof cases.

    Thank you MountainRider. It was no easy task. I had wind gusts of up to 55kph, and keeping the camera steady on the tripod with that big cheap clumsy lens on it in those gusts.. Not to mention what felt like the feeling of frostbite in -22ÚC made it a bit uncomfortable...lol

    Great series.

    I tried, but it was very dark, I had the hardest time getting the legs on the tripod down..yes, I must practice this if I'm going to start using it. I ended up just getting a blanket and just watched it. It was awesome. Just wish I could've gotten at least one shot. lol
