    Oh, you know, I didn't see that face the first time I looked at it, but now I do!
    It's in the SPACE between the leaves; a man, kind of scowling, or with his mouth slightly open.

    [attachmentid=5074]Here is a picture of "The Old Man of the Valley" as it is called today in Shelborne, NH. My grandmother was born nearby and showed it to me 50+ years ago when it was just known to locals. She always called it The Indian Head as one of the indian trails along the river passed by it. Left here by the receeding glaciers thousands of years ago. Natural sculpture at its best.
