The PhotoForum moderating team was inspired by the great member response to the Weekly Theme: SKY, and things really got interesting when members started posting recent shots of atmospheric conditions.
PhotoForum is a global community, and it is fascinating to have a more personal view of world-wide weather conditions than what we might see on the news.
SO ... rather than make "SKY" a permanent thread, we decided to initiate a fresh Never-Ending Theme, just for "current weather reports".
Post shots of what it looks like where you are, from within the past week.
Yesterday, here in the Pecos River Valley of New Mexico, USA
mostly cloudy, with intermittent thundershowers, lightning, rain, and hail at higher elevations.
My dogs were so scared, they tried to hide under the bed all day, and the power was off for a while.
We survived.
I guess I will need to make sure I edit my recent photos that include the atmospheric conditions....otherwise my weather reports will be weeks & weeks old!! LOL!!
...... weather report ..... United Kingdom ...... 06:00 hours ..... 25th june 2007 ......
ITS CRAP
The cat dragged me out of bed at 6am to face this, view over the patio table towards the pond - the UK has issued flood warnings for the next 48 hours - in case you are wondering yes the cat went out in it.
From the look of the photo, I'd say you live in the Rain Forest!
Poor George.
Yes the ferns and palm around the pond do give that impression don't they, I have hostas too so it is all very green, everything low maintenance thats my motto. I get the colour from the fish, the pond is just out of view behind the patio table, its not a big pond but looks even smaller when all the vegetation grows around it in the summer.
Well the cats back in and its still raining, I think this is too much even for Felix.
