Okay... My turn to try.
This morning, when we went out for our walk (photo hunt) it was raining. By the time we got to the meadow, thankfully, it was like this...
By the time we got home again, it was like this...
You can't quite see that it's tipping down at the time.
This is in Wiltshire, England, BTW.

Yesterday was the nicest in central Virginia so far this month. Only got to about 90 and the humidity was down. Topped off by a nice sunset:
Great additions!
Most mornings here on the high desert begin with coffee and contemplation of Telegraph Peak.
This time of year, most days are hot, and the clouds shift continuously, even when there is no wind here below. Their promise of rain is seldom fulfilled. My grandmother describes this weather as "sultry", and it invariably gets her talking about tornadoes in Kansas, when she was a girl.![]()
Yes, another sultry day, and just enough rain to tease us.
In the afternoon, I took a drive up to one of many hills overlooking town. This view of the eastern horizon grabbed me! (So I grabbed it.)
Coming back down into the foothills, that same far horizon looked like this.
Thunderheads across Steptoe Valley on the Shell Creek Range, but no rain for us.

Wow, those are really awesome photos. I'm not one for the desert really (maybe since that's all I've lived in), but those are beautiful.
