Very true! I don't know alot of the city to memory like you do but that was one crazy intersection...
Picture 2 was taken right there at that intersection: http://www.photoforum.com/index.php?act=ST...f=30&t=4628
And Picture 4 in this one was taken there as well: http://www.photoforum.com/index.php?act=ST...f=30&t=4630

The give way sign reminds me of an intersection not far from home which has four stop signs!!! Yep!! One from each direction. Must go on the weekend and get a pic.

I always wondered what would happen if there were ever four cars there at once?? Who gets to go first? or should I say "Who's game enough to go first"?
Lotsa luv from where the palm trees sway!!

    LOL!

Vicki, in America, four-way stops are very very common.... the rule is, first to arrive is first to pass through. If two arrive at the same time, the one to the left has right-of-way.

But I understand where you're coming from -- in my part of the country, there isn't that much traffic, either.

Photorover is right...many 4 way stop signs here in the US.

I pass through a few sets of them on my way home from work everyday and they always make me nervous because it seems many people around here don't seem to "remember the rules of the road" from driving class when they get to the 4-ways stops!!

I've alway remembered a comic strip, B.C. by Johhny Hart, It showed Thor riding his wheel...he came upon a sign "Dip in Road", next box...there was the town idiot...

Just one of those comic strips you never forget! Whenever I see a "Dip" sign, I remember this comic!

    By the late Johnny Hart:
