Hello there, I'm pretty new at this forum, but I thought I'd start a new thread by posting some of my experimental trying-to-learn-photography close-ups.

If anyone else wants to post their macro (or micro) photos in this thread I'm perfectly fine with that.

PS! I couldn't get the pictures from flickr embedded in the forum, even though I tried to follow the tips from the "How to upload your photoes" thread.

PPS! Ok, finally I got it. Thanks for the tip and comment about the tape-photo, Vital Spark.

Very nice..The cassette is really sharp!

You have to go to "All Sizes" , right click on the image and copy the image code from the properties. Then embed with the [ img ] [ /img ] (no spaces)

Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again.

Like the cassette shot, very sharp.
Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words "I have a cunning plan" marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

    A few more:

Maybe not so much depth of field yet, but someday I'll get there too...

    Very nice start JE09.

Sharp images and very imaginative. Looks like your doing just fine with depth of field. It can certainly be challenging.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing your macro work.
