For a splash of winter colour Taken yesterday afternoon and with flash because it was such a grey, dark day

Miniature Phalaenopsis flowering for the 3rd time

with the promise of lots more flowers to come

Blue hyacinth which is struggling and needs to be planted out to regain its vigour. The slight yellowy colour cast is because I was looking for something to subdue the flash a little and the first thing that came to hand was a vinyl glove I'm not sure its a route I wish to explore further but its a little different...

but at least the leaves are doing well

    Thanks for looking

The orchid is vibrant! Poor hyacinth looks like it's got the blues.

Thanks for brightening the day, Karin. The orchid color is wonderful!

Karin, great indoor work! What sort of lens did you use?
I need something pretty indoors to photo!

Maybe I'll buy myself a bouquet!

It certainly is and just what we need to combat the greyness.
