    there's not much sound in a place like this... perhaps the occasional chirp of a small insect, or the soft whisper of a gentle breeze... perhaps nothing at all... 40D with Tamron SP17-35, taken at Kodachrome Valley, Utah.

    nice one rocky! love the foreground subject and B&W sets the mood! In addition, I would have loved to have seen a long exposure (star trails) with this image - just a thought.

    Is this a single exposure? Full moon or not? Reinforced lighting?

    thanks, Bill... yes, this was a single exposure. full moon, no flash, 8 sec @ f/7.1
