    I know that the mountains are set square in the middle of the frame, but that's what did it for me It looked proportioned with the ground, mountains and sky each having their own layer?

    This is a 3 shot pano.

    Not bad at all. the color is awesome.
    Any image is a good image as long as you like it?

    Thanks you two!

    I've found panos tough with a wide lens and polarizer. It's hard to keep the sky evenly exposed.

    nice job jake, i like this one..... i shot a few today.... havent really looked at the results yet.... out of interest did you shoot these all on manual, or apature priority or other?.... im wondering if my sky is gonna be similar in ANY of the ones i took!...... although i was using a polarizer.

    I shoot everything in manual. Once in a while aperture, but very seldom.

    IMO, the placing of the mountains in the middle layer of this pano shot works. But what do I know...

    Oh, I know something....I know I like this shot. Nice one Jake. A surreally beautiful scene.

    There's actually lots of detail in the larger version. It's hard to display panos on the web so everyone can see them.
