I'm wondering why photos taken in the northern hemisphere seem to look better than those taken in the tropics?

As for your comment...the grass is always greener...comes to mind. Photos of the tropics always look better to me.

Haha! Good point! Seriously, I can't seem to get the same blue sky where I am unless I go way up north. Tropical skies tend to be a little "warmer" in tone. Barring any sort of post-processing technique, there must be a scientific explanation.
