Here in Las Cruces, NM we have a great mountain range east of town. We had our first dusting of snow this week. I had to go out of town and just could not resist stopping to shoot some photos. I love how this one came out. Let me know what you think

Stunning. Nice work. Subtle colors and majestic peaks draw the viewer into the picture Has an almost HDR quality about it.

Thank you all so much for the feedback. The timing worked out perfectly to catch just enough of the light filtering through the clouds. Had a lot of fun shooting that day.

Thank you very much. I did indeed! Sometimes I'm not really sure if I am making good artistic decisions. Then sometimes you get back to the shop and you find things worked out just right.

BTW- Hub, I just looked at your profile on the "Rising Stars" site. I am honored to have you look at my image and critique it in such a complementary fashion. Thank you very much. I really appreciate it!

I'm only the messenger. You were the photographer.

    You are most welcome.

I too have to agree with everyone else. I can feel the cold from this photo. I love the clouds at the top of the mountains. This is def. frame worthy.
