We got another 8" last night and we are expecting another 6 to 8" more tonight. Here are a few shots. The one in the back of the house I call Wonderland because this area is where I put food for the deer. It seems the birds, Chipmunks and squirrels also like it. Yesterday it looked like a scene from Cinderella they were all out there playing, one squirrel came up and knocked on our back door, scarred the hell out of my dog, was practically nose to nose with him.

They look like oil paintings! Very nice, indeed. Love the light in photo 1, and the composition in photo 2, but they are both more than lovely!

Two well composed shots. I've just put some more firewood in the burner! Thanks, Dominic.

    Hi Patman10,

Your images are reminiscent of old, hand-painted postcards. This gives your image a classic and almost paint-like quality. I like your post-processing technique. Congratulations.

Pat nice comps but they all way exceed the forum rules on image size - this also applies to attached thumbnails - some members will not be able to view these images. Please keep to the forum rules of 800 pixels longest size - if you wish them to be viewed larger then provide a link to them on a 3rd party host - thanks

I had not heard of Topaz till now, but 'Googled' it, found a free 30-day trial and downloaded it, then added as a Plug In to my Corel software. I'm not a big fan of enhancements that are other-than-darkroom, the program is pretty amazing! Thanks for mentioning it!
