Some pictures, processed in the early 2010. HDR- and filtertechniques and many manual manipulations in the picture. My intension is to create the largest possible 3D-effect in "normal" 2D-pictures.

This last one is really quite startling in its 3D effect!

I agree. Well done, and welcome to the forum!

It´s a kind of optical illusion and I cannot explain the technique in a simple post. I need many hours for the processing and sometimes very little details in a picture decide between "effect" or "no effect". There must be all absolutely perfect !! Colors, lights, shadows, sharpness, blurring, dynamic, perspective, aligning, denoising, and many more. I must write a book or very big tutorial to explain it, but i haven´t time and motivation for that. Perhaps later at my homepage.

    Perhaps thats interesting:

I use only (but ever!!) these software:

    - Dynamic Photo HDR
    - Photoshop CS5
    - Nik Color Efex Pro (many filters)
    - Nik Define
    - Nik Viveza
    - Camera Raw

    Hmmmm.

I do like the 3d effect... and the skies look amazing...

But... It's just too darn bright. Like, there's WAY too much going on in the shot (especially the 2nd one).
Is this due to the brightness?

Also... the ship to the right doesn't seem to fit in the photo I think. Might be just me.
