Well, we have the "Can you guess what this is" thread and it occured to me today that perhaps it would be fun to start up a "Can you guess WHERE this is" as well. Buildings, landscapes, monuments, etc. would be good examples. Try not to post photos of something too random though. For example, I wouldn't take a picture of a cloud in the sky or just a road and ask you to guess where I shot it from.
I'll start it off with an easy one...

Could that be somewhere in Mexico

Good idea, KH. I believe this is at the corner of Randol Mill Road and Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX. Close?
Right on the money!

Great guess, Yorky! - in the Sierra Madre mountains, just outside Puerto Vallarta.

“Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that,
behind all the discernible concatenations, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable.
Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion.”

Yes it is a fortress - well a Castle orignally built in the 1200's and rebuilt in the 1500's and not in Scotland
