    Well is a type of sausage. Here's what it sais on one site:

    "If you have never had a Cumberland sausage, you have never lived! It is a famous local food product in part of my constituency of the North West England and, like many locally produced traditional British foods, it is all too easy for sausage manufacturers elsewhere in Europe to produce a sausage that may share the Cumberland's coiled rope-like presentation, but it will not share its other distinctive properties."
