    I like the 3rd photos of the salad and both photos of the cake. That figures huh! Pretty stuff. Did you make em?

    photo 1: the fork seems a little blurry and the food on focus doesn't stand out much.

    photo 2: im thinking a composition / angle issue with this one. it's just not catching my attention.

    photo 3: love it. could see that in a cook book

    photo 4: theres a green line going down the right side of the cake.. little distracting.

    photo 5: great composition and use of DOF, looks yummy!

    Agree exactly with the poster above me. #3 is good, #5 is good.

    Well, for your first time to food photography... it is an amazing start. You really have the look and feel down. I think you will do EXCELLENT! So, maybe there are minor technical elements. But if this is your start- I can't wait to see what your experience will bring.
