    Just for fun...

I happened to be walking into the local mall and this car was parked out front and, well, I had to grab my camera (fortunately it was with me) to snag the shot.

The weather was dumpy (as per usual in Michigan at this time of the year) and since this shot wasn't planned, I couldn't control the background ... it is what it is.

I figured I'd post it here for anyone who just wants to have some fun with it -- swap backgrounds, maybe it'd look sweet on solid black, whatever you want. I don't need or plan to use this photo for anything, it's just here for fun.

What a cool picture, I had alot of fun with this! I went for a crazy artistic background, I should have toned down the orange blob a bit at the left hand side but never mind, thanks for sharing, great way to spend a sunday morning, playing around on photoshop with a cool pic!

They both look good - I kinda leaning toward #1... the softer version.

Wow! You've all done some fantastic edits.

Don - it's amazing how these cars bring back the old memories. I've got a friend who owns a 55, 56, and 57 T-Bird... all of them in show condition. One of these days I should convince him to pull them out of the garage so I can shoot them.

I noticed that the artistic blur in Haley's edit actually makes the photo look like the car was parked near a rocky beach in the evening. The cars in the background at upper right totally blur out. Which is nice since I thought those background cars were a major distraction.

It looks pretty sweet in black too.
