digitize slides and negatives:
My dad wants me to digitize all of his slides and negatives. We're looking at equipment and I think this is a good one: http://www.amazon.com/Wolverine-Digital-Converter-Convert-seconds/dp/B00RD8MDIE/ref=sr_1_15?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1456020938&s r=1-15&keywords=negative+and+slide+scanner . He came back with this one: http://www.amazon.com/VuPoint-Solutions-Digital-Converter-FC-D680-VP/dp/B00TKRZ1SU/ref=sr_1_40?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1455848717&s r=1-40&keywords=film++converter . I think mine because it has greater resolution and you can just push the slide you are viewing out. When I mentioned the greater resolution he said that film can be noisy. He then asked me to find out what is better to scan negatives and slides for a film speed of 200: one with a resolution of 20 megapixels or one with a resolution of 14 megapixels?
