    That's a great shot. I like the reflection of her curl hitting her shoulder. Would love to see it in BW.

    PHOTO EDITING NOT OK
    The second one isn't bad, but I don't think it's nearly as strong as the first.

    The frame is heavier on the right than the left. So the whole thing is kind of off balance. I think a tighter crop, from a slightly higher pov would have been better. The oof flowers are a bit distracting and she would really benefit from some catchlights in her eyes.

    Ya, that's a little better. The lighting seems a little harsh in that one, but the extra light really opens up her eyes. The eyes are such a focal point, that they help distract from other minor errors if they are nice and bright.

    Make sure you understand that other photographers are going to be much more critical of your work. More than likely, the subject doesn't usually know about 'rules' in photography. They just know what they like to see. So she will probably love all of them
