HD Camcorders

Ive seen spec that says the camcorder will take stills at 4 meg

Im thinking that is high quality for a photo and its going to give good results.
Ive also seen optical zoom of 50 plus.
The idea of that kind of zoom and a good quality pic is appealing.

Samsung seem to go in for camcorders with high zoom.
Maybe Sony is the Rolls Royce ?
