I want to get photos of my cousins and their friend swimming, but there's a problem with my camera. On the top screen it keeps flashing an - - F and I can't get rid of it. I tried every button, tried taking the batt out and everything, I have no idea what to do? =( I hate settings lol. Could someone help me out please?? The batter is a bit on the lower side, but I charged it enough to have enough juice to take photos. It's like when the - - F flashes, it parylizes many buttons. Only one I can change is if it is a timer, multiple frames, or remote setting.
Help pleaseeeeee?????

I did some leg work on google, it appears that it is a problem with the connection between the body and the lens. The camera doesn't know the lens is there. If you turn the lens slightly while it is on, does the error go away? What about a different lens, do you get the error on multiple lenses?

I think that error means the lens is having trouble communicating with the camera. Try twisting the mount of the lens lightly. Or just remove and put the lens back on.
If that doesn't work, try cleaning the electronic contacts between body and lens around the lens mount area.

Thanks lots both of you. I'll try it when I'm home, don't have the camera with me now.
Laura let us know how you get on
Well that worked. I took off the lense and put it back on. Thanks everyone!
