I play the bass guitar and my husband plays the drums, both in our church's worship band.

It seems that often when I meet other musicians, the are either into art (i.e. painting) or photography.

So, how many other musicians do we have around here?

    I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Maybe that's why I take pictures.

I am only a music reader (listen to) and don't write one (compose), for that we need lots of tools, more of hardwares and less of softwares.

I sing in our church's praise and worship team. I am also painting a mural of sorts in the preschool room.

My desire in photography is to capture the essence of life, to make others catch their breath at the purity of the moment captured, I'm still working on that.

I am a retired music teacher, choral director, church organist, handbell director, and professional accompanist. My husband is a retired band director who also performed professionally as a jazz bassist. I guess we are musicians.
