    Me, in the early 80's, shooting a 4-H fair. Pentax MX, probably with a 50mm f/1.7 SMC, along with a Sunpak 522.



    I was going through some old photos and stumbled across this. I had totally forgotten it existed. It was taken by a local paper photographer and he made a print for me. So I scanned it and posted it here for your bemusement and amusement.

    Nikon D5100 with lots of buttons and things, and a neck strap so I don't drop it, but I could still fall over and drop it in the mud.

    I came to the United States during Jimmy Carter's reign so I guess that lets me out. I don't go back as far as Lincoln.

    The earliest I can remember was Eisenhower, hearing about him on the radio news. I recall the evening I came home from work and my mother told me JFK had been assassinated. I was 17 at the time.
