Reading through my photographic magazine, this evening, I was just getting into an article, when I turned the page and found another article started.

Where's the one I was reading?
Oh, it's continued on page 87.
Okay, part of the article is there but where's the rest of it?
Umm... that's on page 107

Flips pages and finds the ad pages don't have consecutive numbers.
It must be here, somewhere!
Ah, there it is; a whole column all by itself buried in the back pages!

Most magazines do this and it's very annoying. Does anyone know of a good reason why magazine publishers do this instead of letting us read a complete, unbroken article on consecutive pages?
