hello folks
some people wanted to keep up with me on a power pack i'm building. so here go's
got my 300w constant 600w peak 12v DC to 120v AC pure sine wave power inverter in yesterday. and
hooked it to the wife's car battery. he he he. i'm running two white lightning 10,000bcps's and one
5,000bcps. at full power and no problem at all. about a three sec recovery time. so i think i'm
in like Flynn. now to get the battery, charger and wiring set up. price wise should be around
$160 for the whole set up. but we'll see. any way i'm off to a good start. i'll keep you in the loop ;{D

Keep in mind that car batteries are not really designed to be discharged a lot, if you do their life will be shortened considerably. You should use marine or deep cycle batteries. Better yet UPS batteries. For the charger, there are large chargers at RV stores. I have a similar setup for my mail server at home.
