    Sorry to hear about your virus George,hope you are recovering.
    My mum always recommended a 'hot toddy' with whisky & honey before you go to bed.

    Well it looks like am back in the land of the living, thank you all for the kind words of support it is much appreciated.

    A couple of you mentioned the change in seasons and it makes me wonder of there is some truth in that, I never ail anything normally (apart from everything that comes with getting older) this one really "knocked me for six" - I guess there's something to be said that my bodies own defences have fought this one off - OK raring to go now so lets see whats happening on the forum today.

    Hi guys - well I'm back buts its turned into something much more serious than expected, turned out the infection in my body was a cellulites infection in my left leg which has become extremely inflamed in the last 24 hours. Currently on heavy doses of strong oral antibiotics with a warning from the Doc that if it starts spreading up past my knee its hospital and intravenous antibiotics.

    Deep joy

    Wouldn't mind but the internet's crap in hospital
