    Default Hawk in Flight

    Seems that Loxahatchee is my favorite wildlife spot as of late. I headed out last month with the family and stopped by a trail to have lunch. As we were eating, a Red Shouldered Hawk landed in a tree about 15 feet from us eating a fish. I ran to the car and grabbed my camera and threw on the 580exii flash. Caught this image as it was taking off again to catch another fish. Such an awesome bird!

    Nikon D5100 with lots of buttons and things, and a neck strap so I don't drop it, but I could still fall over and drop it in the mud.
